sorry I missed the lime and lead determination trials to dead ends.
I make mistakes and am happy about that. Not knowing means, that there is still lot to learn
This can't be a Licea, but some member of Physarales.
There is for instance Physarum confertum, that has scanty capillitium, but it does not grow like this.
Just looked internet and maybe this could be P. confertum-or maybe not.
With regrets: Marja

With regrets: Marja | You have no need whatsoever to be sorry Marja.
I have learned a little bit more from trying to ID this one, and your input and suggestions are always very welcome.
OK - The identification remains a mystery, but the experience can only be of benefit for the future. P.confertum looks like it might be a possibility - as my books say it has very sparse capillitium remains, - but in all of the sporocarps I put under the microscope, I just couldn't find any signs of capillitium at all.
I have kept the specimen so that I can return to it at some time in the future if more information becomes available.
Regards,
Mike. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
