| | | ID : Two Bagworms. Hello,
Recently, a mate and I found some bagworms (larval casings) on wooden fences. The first two images show what we think might be Talephora tubulosa and the final one shows one constructed mainly of wooden debris which might be Psyche casta.
Is anyone able to comment on these please?
Regards,
Andrew. |

| | | Re: ID : Two Bagworms. Hello again,
I have uploaded two more images of bagworms found yesterday in Exeter. I have struggled to name them so I would like to ask for any help if possible.
The first one shows one found on a large grey stone gatepost to a house. The case material matched the stone colour. I have no idea what this one could be.
The second shows a very prolific species found in the hundreds along lichen covered walls within a one kilometre or so range. I think this might be Bankesia conspurcatella but that is supposedly rare?
