Flame Shoulder
Hi, can anyone id this moth. Flame shoulder & Radfords FS have been suggested. Can anyone settle it? Lizard, Cornwall, August 2008

As I've never seen a Radford's Flame Shoulder, it does make it a bit tricky. What time of year was it? Waring & Townsend say there have only ever been 24 records, all from 1983 onwards, and all between September and late November. Looking at the pics in W&T I would say Flame Shoulder.
