Elephant Hawk Moth Pupae

I found an Elephant Hawk Moth Caterpillar last Autumn, and put it in an old fish tank with the appropriate food. It turned into a pupae a few days later, and is still alive (it wiggles when you pick it up).

At the moment it is in my greenhouse, but during the day it gets rather warm now! Where should I put it, and when should I expect it to emerge?

In the wild this species emerges from May onwards. With artificial heat an earlier emergence, such as in a greenhouse, may occur.

Yes I would move it somewhere cooler, such as an outside garage. Let's hope for a healthy emergence.
