Moth IDs again, please

I am struggling to ID these two, trapped in mixed woodland, west Hants. As they are very similar, they may be the same species, although the lower one was smaller than the top.

I'm no expert, but I think they are both Square-spot Rustics. My moth book says they occur in all habitats, and I think they do vary a bit in size.

For some reason, the 'square spot' actually reminds me of the outline of an old-fashioned telephone. But that's probably just me!

I'd go with Square-spot Rustics too.

I guessed that they were probably Rustics of some sort, as they often give me ID-grief. The square spot on the portrait-view one is pretty clear, but the description given in our books didn`t quite match, so I thought I would ask here.
