Moths to confirm please


Morning All,

I have these down as,

1. Square spot Rustic
2. Ditto but not so sure on this one
3. Common Marbled Carpet

Would anyone care to agree with this?

Agree with the first two Julian. Last one might be Dark Marbled Carpet. Need to check as they are both quite variable species.

Cheers Adam, yes the dark/common marbled is a bit of a challenge, had quite a good catch last night, quite pleased with Feathered Gothic and Centre barred Sallow.

Off to look at UK moths now, looks more common marbled in Waring/Townsend

I have looked on Uk Moths, and it's a common marbled, identical picture on there
