Adam thought it was a Garden Dart but I don't see it myself!
I'm kinda leaning towards Dotted Rustic!

I suspect it could be The Suspected , it's very variable but then I'm not sure..
Look in Noctuidae, under Amphipyrinae.. Jeff Higgott`s UK Lepidoptera

Your suggestion of Suspected looks close.
I don't think it's a Hedge Rustic as it soesn't have a light line on the edge of the forewing.
I looked on UK Moths just now.
It could also be a Neglected Rustic.
What do you think of that one?
