I don't think it is a Neglected Rustic at all. Doesn't have any of the markings for it. It looks like a faded Brown Rustic to me. See the white dots along the edge of the wing and it has the faint wavy line too. |

| | | Re: Two moths for ID check Location is Peterborough in East Anglia. The photo was taken on the 22nd of June 2007! An old photo I would like to get an ID on.
To be honest I think the photo does show the colour and details, there was not much patterning on it and it is brown! I agree it could be better but I remember the moth clearly being quite nondescript and difficult to ID. |
