| | Who needs a moth trap I think next year I'll get a moth trap, but don't think I need one for this year, have found another solution. All you need is the following:
A house
Some lights
A door that opens to the outside world
Tonight in the house I had 4 Orange Swift, 3 White-shouldered House and a Light Brown Apple.
Also Garden and House Spider, some mozzys and a Green Lacewing
Who needs to go outside!?!

I keep getting Orange Swifts in the house aswell!
I think Kayleigh does quite well with moths by turning on the lights & opening the windows/doors aswell.

| | | Re: Who needs a moth trap The bathroom light always used to work but these new fangled economy bulb/stick things ain't so good.
Attracting them into the house means they land on the ceiling 98% of the time making photographing them awkward or darn right dangerous
I put our my Ikea mossie net (was about a £5 when I bought mine) hung from the clothes line and pegged out, with my camping gaz lamp inside it, the moths sit on the outside ready to be photographed, turn the lamp off and they go, simples
