moth for i.d.

hello
hope all is well with everyone.....havent been around for a while as went off to france for a holiday...though took the moth trap, much to my wifes chagrin!!!....meanwhile back in sometimes sunny/cloudy/windy/rainy hastings....heres a moth that was in the trap at the beginning of the month...ive tried to i.d. it but i keep coming back to sweet gale moth, but i dont think its that, though i dont seem to be able to make it fit anything else....im sure it will turn out to be something obvious...!!
anyway, thanks for looking in and for any assistance offered...

It looks to be a Marbled Green, Cryphia muralis which is variable.

well....i'll go to the foot of our stairs....so i did...and so it would seem...and having read about them they are indeed many coloured and most variable....many thanks for that....
