| | | Re: Fluffy moth for identification pls. Just a thought Bruce, but I wonder if it is one of the micro-caddisflies (which have very hairy fringed wings) from the Family Hydroptilidae rather than a moth?
There's some examples of American species here: http://www.pbase.com/tmurray74/caddi..._hydroptilidae
Of course they'll be different to our species but it gives perhaps a sense of the body form of them.

You've given me plenty to help get me going on the web and if I do come up with anything I'll of post it of course.
