I have seen one of these before at a moth trapping session. (The person that ran it really had a talent for moths. Pity he isn't a WABBER as there was never any umming or ahhing when the rest of us were getting confused.) Of the moths caught it was one of he larger ones. Does that sound right E?

Does that sound right E? | Yes it was large it was sitting on my gas burner on the hob all day so I decided it had to go outside so I put it in a small container with my hand over the opne end then put it on the wooden table it calmed down so I removed the cover and took some shots before I put it in the lavender for safety..
We are getting a good selection overnight here I don't need a moth trap.
I also got some tiny ones I have put one on fb Deb, I don't think its good enough for an ID though.
It must take years to learn all the common species.. |

| | | Re: Moth for ID I really enjoyed the organised moth trapping session. All the gain without the pain. Just turn up and handle them already packaged in neat little containers (whilst the organiser had had 4 h sleep and looked like death). A fast track ID lesson.
You HAVE to join some clubs E!
