| | | Id and a bit of guidance please Hi,
I saw this lovely moth, on Denbie's Hill on Saturday. Could somebody let me know what it is, and also recomend a good guide so that I can look these up in the future.

I would endorse Nightshade's suggestion, though the full version gives more info on such things as food plants, though the concise version is easier for taking in the field.
Also suggest Chris Manley's photographic guide to British Moths + Butterflies.
This book also illustrates many micros which is a help in knowing what group a micro belongs to.
