| | | Re: Moth for ID Agree Ermine, but I would have gone for Buff Ermine it seems like there is a complete row of dots from tip to trailing edge but part of the row is faded/missing (it often shows better and more completely on the underside of the wing). If I'm reading that correctly it would suggest Buff Ermine, I do often go round in circles with these ermines seeing and then not seeing certain patterns though so I could well be wrong. Checking the underside of the wing, if you can, often helps.
