Toadflax Brocade
Vicki and I emptied the trap from my garden yesterday and found this little beauty, A Toadflax Brocade. A Red Data Book species to boot.

Hi Adam, this is a species that seems to be doing well and expanding its range, thats certainly the case in Essex.

Haven't seen any larvae in my garden this year, but the previous 4 years had several larvae on Purple Toadflax. Seems to have become quite widespread in the London area.

I have Purple Toadflax and Red Valarian in my garden. Will have to keep my eyes peeled.
