| | | Cornish moth for ID Taken last week in the extreme South West of Cornwall - I found several of these on heather and gorse on a hill. I thought I recognised them so didn't get any better shots and now I can't work out what they are. Figured they would be easy to ID... Any help would be appreciated. |

Difficult to be 100% because of lack of view of the wings.
However, I think it's a Treble-bar!

| | | Re: Cornish moth for ID My first guess would be July Belle, Scotopteryx luridata. A species attracted to gorse, with the right flight period (Lead Belle is very similar but is a little earlier, although who knows this year).
