| | | A few moths for identification please
I think this is a red carpet Xanthorhoe decoloraria ssp. hethlandica, taken in Northamptonshire, I thought it was a more Northern species, or maybe I have got it wrong  Taken yesterday.

A couple of micro's - pic quality is so-so so apologies, all taken in Northamptonshire. Taken last month.

Cheers Nige, I just popped them in U.K moths and looks good and also states a very common species, I thought mine where two different moths

Thanks Jason, yes that species looks more like it, it's on the same page in my moth book as Red carpet and I should have checked both first!
