Im pretty certain its a Plain Golden Y(Autographa jota)

Beautiful Golden Y is more colorful and has markings around the costal area of the forewing with a kidney usually clearly outlined.

I read of "metallic" colourations, which only the beautiful one has. The online pictures seem to have considerable variation. Where would the "kidney" shape be?
I can do more pics, it was alive last time I looked.
Perhaps this view helps, though it isn't all sharp..
