| | | Re: Moth I.D Please! Yes, I've had lots in my garden this year and last year. I was surprised as I thought they favoured wet areas. They seem to have taken over the garden tiger as the most common tiger moth. Evolution at work perhaps? |

| | | Re: Moth I.D Please! The larvae feed on a number of herbaceous plants, but especially comfrey (Symphytum spp). Taken from UK moths.
Perhaps this maybe due to the huge amount of Russian comfrey around these days? I have seen a lot this year! Whether they will feed on this particular species I have no idea. Just a thought.
