5 Spot Burnet range

What is known about current distribution of 5 Spot Burnet Moth.
Internet searches seem only to show outdated range.
Here in S.E. Scotland ,where it is not supposed to exist,it has taken over from 6 Spot

I photographed a mating pair on Lindisfarne recently - in amongst many 6-spots.

Looking at the maps on the moths count website, it looks like your moths are more likely to be Narrow-bordered Five-spot Burnets, here's its map:

Yes ours are Narrow Bordered 5 Spot,but a bit north of the nearest tetrad on the map,we are in East Lothian.
Any theories about the reason such such a dramatic range expansion?
