| | | The road to hell is paved... ..with good intentions.
Found this pretty (slightly worn) white moth in the car-park,
thought I'd save from certain squish by taking it home & releasing it in the garden flowers.
After about 15 mins sitting by the pond, I thought I saw it fly off,
but watching more closely it turned out it was being carried away by a wasp !
Oh well, I least I tried.
Seems not to be an ermine, satin or muslin moth, not sure what it was, any ideas ?
I guess the feathered antennae mean it was a male ? |

Feel slightly better that it's a reasonably abundant species |

looked like just an normal wasp to me,
presumably live food gets cut up, chewed and fed to the wasp grubs | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
