hello

oooh its tricky crambid (mostly) time....im trying to get to grips with these little things...im gradually getting there...but some im still struggling with...hopefully someone out there will have a better idea than myself...so thanks for anyhelp you can give me....

Graham,

You and me both. If they had been in my trap I would have put 1,3, 5 and 6 down as Chrysoteucha culmella based on the patterning at the end of the wing and that bright blue eye, pretended to be upset when 2 and 4 flew off and gone for Crambus perlella for the last one as it is so white.

Others may beg to the differ...

thanks for that Dom....these little blighters keep on coming in to the trap, (how do you stop them - ha ha)...i feel im making more of an effort with i.d. for micros in general, but these grass moths keep flying off and moving about more than others...sigh!!
