Hi Nige, there are a few moths that look like the first 2. We spent hours the other night looking through the UK moths site to find our "bird dropping moth!" We are just learning also

I`ve just bought British Moths & Butterflies, a photographic guide by Chris Manley. It does have a few Micro Moth photos in & is worth getting in my opinion.
