| | | moth ID, never seen it before I came across this moth today (well I think it's a moth)
it was kind of purple brown in colour and the sqiggles on the back are bright gold
I really would like to identify it, I couldn't find it in my books |

I thought you were just commenting on 'beautiful' part not realising it was the name of it as there is one called plain also
I do think some have stunning patterns like this guy but I can't go near if flying around  I'm glad this guy was still so I got a good pic. the big moths scare me a bit.
