Moth for ID Please

I saw this yesterday in nettles in Surrey.

I've not been able to id it from my book so think it might be an old and faded individual - any ideas?

Have a look at Spectacle. One tip for taking pics of moths that rest with their wings in a tent shape like this one, is to tak a pic from the side as this will usually show the marking s much better.

Looks like a worn Burnished Brass to me, they're stunning moths when they're fresh.

Adam and Guy thank you very much for your suggestions. Having now looked both of those up I realise just how worn the moth was.

Adam thanks for the advice about taking a sideview - it dawned on me when I was trying to ID it myself I realised that would've been better I will remember that in future.
