Micro from my house
Found this in the kitchen. WL 6mm.
Going through UKMoths this looks like Denisia similella but this is said to be scarce & most of the records on the NBN Gateway map are in the north of Scotland. Certainly none in Cumbria ! So perhaps this ID is way off
I'd be very grateful for an expert opinion.

Looks pretty good to me. Send the record to your county moth recorder with full details if it is as scarce as you say. Nice find. NBN is only as good as the records they receive.
