The first is a Least Carpet and the second is Willow Beauty.

I would say (though not a pro ) pic 2 is of a Willow Beauty , Peribatodes rhomboidaria
Moths are an incredible bunch of insects , 2000 species in the british isles alone ! A good deal of them are colourful enought to put most butterflys to shame !!!!!!!!!
Dont just spare them the fly spray , spare them some time !
