The Tissue Triphosa dubitata?

Hi,

It took me a long time to find what this might be, there is the Scarce Tissue which has a straighter forewing and more strongly marked hindwings according to UK Moths. Checking them again this looks like it could be the Scarce Tissue, the wing is curved but not as curved as The Tissue.

What do others think? I haven't had one before.

Worth checking the underwing if you can - Scarce Tissue has two dark costal streaks on underside of the forewing, absent in Tissue.

I'm glad you agree Adam, it's often difficult to tell when the wing has quite a curve!

Thanks nutmeg, this was on 10th May and I only got one shot of it by the outside light at night. They often land then take off again so I must miss a few!
