| | | The birds have found my trap Dear all,
Bit gutted about this as I only have a garden to trap in so moving it is not going to help much. Any tips apart from stopping trapping or getting up at dawn. Don't think I can't stomach either

I think this is where the phrase "The early bird catches the worm" comes from.
I use a wooden frame that fits over my trap and has a very fine mesh stretched over the frame to keep the moffs in and birds out. Get up just before the first bits of sunlight start showing, beat the birds to it...then go back to bed safe in the knowledge that you don't need to get up!!
Either that or start birding too!?!
Regards
