Valerian Pug


What do you reckon? Looks just like the one in Chris Manley's book, but darker than the one in the Field Guide. The white zig-zag is pretty clear.

Trapped last night in a wet Woking, Surrey.

Common Pug does seem the most likely, but it does have Valerian Pug features. The Common Pug photo on UKmoths does seem to match, but I've never seen such a dark specimen before...
