Hi, have demolished a shed, and come across a nest in the soil that I want to dig over for my allotment. I do not want to ruin it, but can I regime them?

Hi,

Not sure what you mean by regime them. In a sense the damage is done (this is not a criticism, I strimmed a nest two years ago) because although the nest may still be in tact it will be very exposed and likely to be abandoned or predated. So from this point in you have nothing to lose. If they are still there you could cordon of a patch and maybe build a roof out of something that would give some cover then dig around them. I am not sure if would work but worth a try.

Thanks for the response. I meant to say rehome not regime!!, I guessed that might happen, as I have really pulled it all away and it's right inside of the area I need.
Well here's hoping they go somewhere else in the garden or find some where else.
