Thoughts are it is either a Dwarf or Oak-tree Pug.
Can anyone confirm or correct please?

| | | Re: Pug for ID please Hi Cordaline, I'm not an expert but after a swift look through british Moths and Butterflies it looks like a Mottled Pug (Eupithecia exiguata).
Sorry to throw another name in the mix!

| | | Re: Pug for ID please I'm with Adam on this one. Wings and general size are way too small/short for Mottled Pug, and Mottled usually shows dark 'patches' (for want of a better decription) towards the wings tips whereas this specimen is decidedly banded.
