The first looks like the Common Carpet moth from this angle.
Take care, Jason |

That's great thanks, I am getting the hang of this but these small moths all have me stumped. :-)

| | | Re: Moths ID please Hi Aeshna,
Cheers, this makes sense as when I looked up carpet moths it says that they are day flying moths.
This one came in to my bathroom overnight and has not moved all day. |

| | | Re: Moths ID please Looking at it again I would tentatively say a Double-striped Pug. Surprised there haven't been more opinions about this on here. |

| | | Re: Moths ID please Evening all,
Although the photo is at an acute angle, I'd go along with Aeshna's view that it is a Double-striped Pug.
I think the micro could be Syndemis musculana? Again the photo probably doesn't give a good enough view.
Jo - can you give us an idea of the size of these 2?
Regards

| | Re: Moths ID please Hi all,
The first one is about 2cm wing tip to wing tip. It was up near the ceiling so not the greatest angle.
The second is about 1cm from the head to the end

| | | Re: Moths ID please First one I'd agree is a Double-striped Pug. The second is a micro moth in the Tortricidae family.
