| | | Re: 1 micro moth for ID please Looks like an Indian Meal Moth, Plodia interpunctella. These can reach pest conditions indoors + infest unsealed food stuffs I had an episode of these a few years back + came with bird food. It took ages to get rid of them. |

I think mine came in with peanuts, though could come in with seed I guess. They will certainly infest ceral boxes + the like. Often found larvae in cereal boxes + the like. |

It's on the UK Moths website. It has emerged early for the UK but if it's arrived in nuts from overseas it could have emerged at the right time wherever it came from. | | | Re: 1 micro moth for ID please That is a good Moth id site. I think I recognise the moth now (not definitely) but I think they called it the cocoa moth at Fry's chocolate factory and it cost a fortune to control.
