| | | How to make a moth trap? and advice please. :).
Hi I am making a project and I want to do it about moths species in Ireland at each time of year but does anyone know how to make an easy mothtrap since I am not mechanically minded  .Also what guide on moths would be good to use to identify the moths I catch  and does anyone know other tecniques to atract moths?  And would anyone have any good tips for me since I never did mothing before?

As to books:
'Field Guide to the Moths of Great Britain and Ireland' by Waring, Townsend and Lewington and 'British Moths and Butterflies' by Chris Manley UKMoths | Guide to the moths of Great Britain and Ireland
is the most comprehensive ID website but there are plenty of others. Moths of Ireland has distribution details and flight times of moths in Ireland. Good luck with it! |
