| | | Worst Night's Mothing Results Last night was the worst night for mothing I've had since I started trapping back in March.
It was very cold so no doubt that is why.
The one good thing was, I still got a new one for my life list out of the measly 4 I caught. Lunar Underwing
The others were:-
Flounced Rustic x1
Large Yellow Underwing x1
Light Brown Apple Moth x1

| | | Re: Worst Night's Mothing Results Can be a bit disappointing when there are nights like that.
On National Moth Night back in May I managed a pitiful 2 moths. I also had a couple of nights in March when I had just a single moth (wasn't too surprised though). |

| | | Re: Worst Night's Mothing Results Bad luck Cordaline! As you know, I'm very new to mothing, but it was my worst night's mothing too. I only had 21 moths (6 species), of which 12 were Lunar Underwings. |

| | | Re: Worst Night's Mothing Results I couldn't trap this weekend and after seeing others results I'm not too upset! It is so disappointing when you don't get much but I'm getting used to it. I'm giving it a go tonight though as it's meant to be mild but so far I've just got craneflies and 1 LBA moth...
