| | | Sunday night's very short list! Well, I put the trap out and this time the moths were outnumbered by craneflies . I am fine with all insects except craneflies (and St Mark's Flies); horrid things!
This is possibly the shortest list I've had yet!
Square-spot Rustic x 2
Large Yellow Underwing x 2
Vines Rustic x 1
Flounced Rustic x 1
Spruce Carpet x 1 (new for me )
Jo

I'd not even heard of a Spruce Carpet! Nice find. |

| | | Re: Sunday night's very short list! It wasn't too windy and quite mild so I'm thinking that a lot had simply not stayed in the trap, perhaps a new trap along the Robinson lines is in order. Mind you, when I went to bed at about 10.30pm there was nothing in or around it except for the craneflies.
