| | | Friday & Saturday night's trapping! On friday night I got one new moth for my life list:- Six-stripe Rustic. The little blighter scuttled behind the skirting board before I could get a pic though.

| | | Re: Friday & Saturday night's trapping! You do get some nice lists! I've been lucky so far inasmuch as I've not had any wasps or stingers in the trap. I tend to get lots of mozzies, lacewings, small Ichneumons (about 1cm), little orange flies and of course the ones sent to confuse - Caddis flies...

I've been worried about getting stinging insects in my moth trap, but not had any at all in the three sessions I've done so far. |

This last one shows the comparison between a hornet, which was slightly closer, and a wasp.
