| | | Possible Acleris logiana?
Found this moth last year (29/10/09) and put it down as an acleris logiana. However, I now realise that they are only supposed to be found in birch woodland in Scotland, with the occasional record in the south. This was found at my house, in Lincolnshire and as far as I know, there are no birch trees nearby.
So, was my ID correct, or is it something else? |

I've never seen this and my ID's are not great, but for what it's worth it does look very like A logiana, but could also be A kochiella or even A literana as they are very variable aparrently. Hopefully someone with more experience than me will be along to sort it out for you!

I don't think it would be literana, due to the different markings, but it could be kochiella. It is between logiana or kochiella....hmm... |
