Photographed in my garden in Plumstead SE London 22/7/10.
If it is a Jersey Tiger, are they migrating or was it just blown off course?  |

There's been a colony (increasing) of Jersey Tigers for a few years now in SE London, originating in the Forest Hill area. |

I saw one in my garden yesterday & another this morning!  Sadly they were too quick for me & disappeared by the time I got my camera. Rare Jersey Tiger Moth reaches London, 2010. |

I have since seen masses of these moths round my house (Hither Green) - there seems to be a plague of them at the moment!! I got a couple of nice pics of them too, but I haven't got time to fiddle aroung adding them to a Gallery, and I'm not allowed to use Image Shack, so they will remain unseen!  | | |
