Found this moth at the local nature reserve yesterday, the nearest moth i can find that resembles it is a sallow.

Sallow for me too; makes you know autumn is almost here!

I think the pink head and shoulders would make this a Pink-barred Sallow, I'm looking forward to seeing these again this autumn, the Sallows are such a beautiful group of moths.

Of course you're right Guy!

I did consider this- I do sometimes confuse some Sallows for this species; but yes the pink shoulders should have convinced me! I'll try to do better next time!
