ID Two moths please


Not many moths last night. I wasn't sure what these two rather tatty specimens were. Help appreciated

Hi, the second one is a Flounced Rustic but I'm not sure on the first, sorry.

I think your first one may be a rather tired Water Veneer, but I've never hd one so can't say definitively, sorry.

I'd go for a worn Dingy Footman for the first, and I'd agree that the second is Flounced Rustic.

Thanks - having looked up in book, I agree with the Flouced Rustic for the second and for the first Dingy Footman looks very likely - right size etc.
