LArge moth i.d.

Seen this evening at the back of the garden. I'd estimate the length at around 3-4cm (it was much bigger than the usual moths I see). Help in identifying (or indeed, an identification!) appreciated.

It's a Large Yellow Underwing- they are variable in markings but usually have the black mark towards the end of the wings as shown in your photo. Many recorders have been saying there are fewer around this year.
