3 moths needing ID help please

Hi,
Wonder if anyone could help with identifying the following three moths, All recently in the trap and all the appropriate size for what I 'think' each is!

1. Is this a Double Square Spot?

2. Is this a Cabbage?

3. Is this a Turnip?

number 3 looks like a turnip moth to me....unsure about number 1 as a dble sq spot....doesnt seem to look like any of the ones i have caught, so will be interested to see what conclusions are drawn about it....im sure they vary just like the others....

The first is a Lesser Yellow Underwing, and I'd agree with you on the other two

Oooh the embarassment! Lesser Yellow Underwing, that rare and prized moth!! Thanks for your help....I'm off to hide under a rock.... Tx

I know exactly how you feel, but if you've not had one before it's an easy mistake to make (and I make all them the time!) All those Noctuids look so similar they should all wear little name tags!
