Essex moth IDS please

These were taken in South Essex on 2/7/10

Im pretty sure this is a lappet


And this a common green emerald


The first mystery species is a small one



The 2nd quite large:

4. Buff Arches
5. Southern Wainscot
6. Setaceous Hebrew Character
7. Scalloped Oak
8. probably Phlyctaenia coronata

It was at Wat Tyler Country Park in Pitsea, near Basildon.

The RSPB run Moth trapping evenings which are free - theres one next month I believe
