Question [ID] crambidae: Pediasia contaminella?
Afternoon all,

Is this Pediasia contaminella? Seen today in London, feeding from a Thistle.

Looks like Platytes alpinella
A DB3 species,well done.

Excellent Peter, many thanks. This was in a nice park about 20mins from my home in London. Would this make it a migrant one, or are there less Coastal resident colonies?.

I think I found the quite uncommon Fencepost Jumping Spider there too.
