| | | Re: Agriphila selasella or Agriphila tristella? Forgot to mention the cones, I find they vary on all the species, some seem to be worn and if you check the cone on the moth on Norfolk Moths you will see it has a big cone.

I'll leave your moths to people who have more experience with these, they're an interesting group though, I'll be spending more time looking at them from now on!

Your post of 3.35 first picture,
That is tristella,just by looking at photo you can see it's a lot longer than selasella.

peter | But if my A. inquinatella is bigger than said to be, why not this? It doesn't have the obvious fingers... look at one of the versions of it I linked to on Hants Moths. I really can't say for sure.. but you might be more experienced with these.
