Noctua janthe?

I have seen this moth twice in the last two days, both times it flew in through an open window at night (presumably attracted to the light). It has orange / yellow underwings that can be seen when it flies. While probably not a day flyer, it is a lot more awake / active during the day than most moths I find in the house.

It was a bit over 2cm long, any id confirmation / suggestions appreciated.

A nice moth. Your head-on shot shows one of its diagnostic features very well - the light strip (sometimes looks a pale green) on the thorax above the head.

This summer these have by far and away outnumbered Large Yellow Underwings in my trap.
