| | | Re: marbled beauty? they are lovely, they seem to be pretty calm so you can have a good look at them, i actually thought it was dead ; i was going to take it home and mount it so i got a box out of my bag and put it in, then it started to fly about
so i just let it go in a more suitable place undercover of darkness |

It's a nice moth, I've yet to see one!

Guy | its patterning looks abit like certain lichens actually, makes sence!
are they rareish then or just illusive? im holding out hope of finding a dead one to mount 
fat chance i think haha |

fat chance i think haha | Overall they are quite common, but in my area there don't seem to be many. It's probably one of the moths that is more common in urban areas as there are more suitable places to breed.
