Which very furry moth is this?

Hello Loripo,

An unusual shot from the underside, it looks to me like a male Fox Moth but June/July is their flight time, When was your photograph taken?

A possible alternative would be a male Oak Eggar, which appears (in my area) just as Fox Moths are going over.

Taken two nights ago, was on the outside of the conservatory window. (taken by grandaughter). She said it was slightly gingery coloured'

I'll go for a similar moth, the Drinker, it looks like it has the long 'snout' of this species and they're certainly large and furry!

They have had drinker moth caterpillars around, so we think it may well be that. Thanks.
